Well, we may not end up going home today after all. Caemon’s sleep apnea caused a dip in his oxygen levels last night, so they aren’t sure they want him to go. This is so frustrating. We really just want to have our boy home.
Today he has received a platelet transfusion and a blood transfusion. This is to become a regular part of his life until he is healed. I am finding myself very grateful to those who make giving blood and platelets a part of their lives.
More updates later. For now, we wait for the word, and we hope that word is home.
